Of course, if your mother made caramel sauce, you might be thinking, “Well, that’s a pretty common drink trick.” As it turns out, most of the drink trick you think you know is actually an old wives tale. Apparently, when you mix the ingredients in a pan, the caramel will begin to melt into the bottom of the pan at a slow rate, and as the sauce cooks, it will evaporate into the top.
