A friend asked me to write about our cabaret this summer. I’m so excited! It’s in the town of clocktower, Ohio and it will be our third cabaret we have hosted. I love how it is totally self-serving, with tickets being sold for those that want to attend. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to host a show.
We do this every year, giving away tickets to shows we put together. We are not self-serving. It is a way for us to pay for the cost of the show, and as you may have noticed, we still have tickets to sell. We are also able to keep the expenses low, because our show is not an overly expensive event. The cabaret is a one-time event, with two shows each night. The first night is free and open to the public.
We also have a two-night pass for $15, which includes two tickets to the show, but only one free night. That means that $15 gets you two free nights, and one of those nights is free! The more you spend, the better chance you have to win something.
Clocktower is a new cabaret venue that is being built in downtown San Francisco. The site is being built on the site of a former gas station, and the idea is that the venue will be a kind of temporary “cabaret” that will serve as a permanent venue for various acts like comedians, artists, and musicians to perform. The venue is being built from scratch, and is being built by a team of designers, architects, and engineers from the San Francisco design and construction industry.

I can’t wait to see what this new venue looks and sounds like! They’ve put a lot of effort into making the building itself look and sound great (plus the design is quite beautiful). The interior is not quite as spectacular as the exterior, but it is a beautiful building, and it looks good enough with the windows and doorways painted in calming hues. The cabarets themselves are also quite beautiful, but the music is just not as memorable as the video I saw from the band. It had a nice, light touch, but it wasn’t quite as memorable as the video made it sound.
I was hoping to see a video of the band when they opened for St. Vincent, but they were too busy playing their own music, so I was disappointed. The video I saw though was from a small, intimate venue, so I’m not sure what it was about it that made it memorable to me. The video was clearly meant for the party crowd, but it was still pretty good.
I had the same feeling about the video, even though I didnt see them that night. They were a fairly new band to me, so I really didnt know if they were “getting their act together” or what. I did like how the video made me feel, but I felt it was maybe just too much for my sensibilities. I’m sure its not the only video that does this, but I think this is a good start for the band.
